I am in the process of installing plusnuts in my LWB Transit; I've had this tool the whole time and it's going great. After seeing all the stories of people using their own tools/methods to install the plus nuts, I feel sufficiently confident that buying this tool was the right move. Around 50 of the nuts installed so far. The tool is pretty tight on installing the first couple nuts but loosens up as you go along. Used to need the Allen wrench to "reset" the tool after each nut but now it can be done by hand. Still, the first full turn with the Allen wrench on each nut is pretty tight to get the "plus" to start to flatten, but once it gets going, it turns pretty easily. Takes probably 30 seconds or less per nut. I saw one forum post claiming they spent 3-5 minutes (!!!) per nut without the tool. Time is money, and this tool is worth it.Needed to replace jack screw anchors on hollow aluminum door to mount metal hurricane shutters directly to the doors. These are French doors w man-size slab of glass in each door so care was critical. The original zinc-based anchors had serious corrosion from salt air exposure. Ignorant about how to do this, my awesome local TruValue HW (Dixie Aluminum) supplied the jack-nut rivets but the pneumatic insertion tool they had was $130. As I only needed to replace 12 anchors, they recommended shopping Amazon and I found Hanson Rivet and Tool. Hanson guys spent 30 min w me to clarify the instructions for the manual. Great quality tool, super customer service, job done! This 1/4-20 Hex Hand Wrench works well but I found the Allen wrench slow and clumsy. So I bought this 3/8 Hex socket and used a Ratchet wrench instead.I also tried a hex head with my impact gun but I could get them as tight as I did with the ratchet.I used about 200 Steel Cross Nut- Pre-Bulbed - 1/4-20 .280 Grip Cross nut pre-bulbed to build out my van. They made for very secure attachment point for anything I bolted on to the walls or ceiling. The socket and ratchet made the job much easier. Hope this helps.Williams 35212 1/2-Inch Drive Hex Bit Socket, 3/8-Inchhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007YR9UXK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Working great so far! Takes some practice at first. The length is adjustable and does reach past the end of the 1/4-20 plus nuts I’m using in my ‘17 Ford Transit. Thread the plus nut as directed then use light force with a hammer to insert it into the hole. Then just hold the allen wrench while turning the nut with the other wrench. Glad I stumbled on this tool after days of searching. Shipping was surprisingly fast via usps. This is the right tool for the job. Just make sure to thread all the way in, take a few turns and spin the thread back in so you get more than 3 threads applying the force needed to seat the plus nut.I have been using these tools for years in field electronic equipment installations and am very happy with the dependable quality and ease of use design. Just as a tip, apply a small amount of oil to the tools threads. This reduces the amount of torque to install the rivet nuts plus increased the tools life.Works great! I setup the interior of my sprinter using those, driving in plus nuts. The tool lasted with ease and has plenty more life to go. You're going to want to buy a hex head for your impact gun. Using the included hex key would be painstakingGreat product, worked as described,3/4 " ratched wrench and 1/2" socket wrench with 7/16" Allen head made simple work to install rivets
